Fixtures for Sunday 5th & 12th February:

Pitches in Rochford District :

You are probably already aware that Fountains Environmental who allocate pitches on behalf of Rochford Council have closed. There is no answer from their telephone or email and the office in Hockley is closed.

Rochford Council have announced that they have taken action to maintain services in the short term which could mean that those clubs with home games next Sunday will have a pitch available but in light of the obvious uncertainty we would strongly recommend that clubs with home games contact Rochford Council on 01702 546366 to obtain confirmation that your pitch will be available.

Fancy becoming a referee:

The Essex County FA are running referees courses in 2012. For more details please click on the following link, http://eventspace.thefa.com/essexfa/participant/s.aspx?mcid=4. Can we remind all clubs that once the course has been completed and the referee has been designated as a level 7 referee any clubs who can provide a referee to the league on a regular basis will be guaranteed a referee for all of their home games.
If you have any queries on the referee course should be directed to James Lester at the Essex County FA on 01245 393097.

Submission of Match Results:

Once again can we remind all clubs not to use the form on the website to submit your match results as it does not work!
A form is on the website so that our website administrator, Paul Connelly, can try and find the "bug" that is preventing the form from being received by the League.
Can all clubs please ensure that the result of your match is telephoned to Peter King and that the website is not used.
Once we are happy that the form on the website is working properly then you will be advised accordingly.

Message from the Registration Secretary:

Firstly, can all clubs playing this Sunday please collect outstanding Counterfoils/registration cards from Karen prior to the match commencing as you will need to take the Counterfoils along to the match to exchange with the opposition. Please remember that if you do not have the Counterfoil at the match the player concerned can not play in the game.
Secondly, can all clubs please stick the players photos on the registration form, if you do not the players form will not be processed and player will remain unregistered.

Player Registration Forms:

Further to the recent AGM and the discussions regarding Player Registrations forms all clubs are reminded that if a Players Photo ID card has three stickers on the back then a new registration form and new photographs will be required to be submitted to Karen Andrews. Karen has advised that registration forms can be submitted from the 1st July 2011.
